Raiganj University is featured in Raiganj, West Bengal. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, science, commerce, law, education are offered here with different basics of admission standards in each departments and courses. To get admission in BA courses, students must have passed 12th standard in any stream with not less than 50% of the total percentage. For BSc, the needed qualification is 12th Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as advance subjects. For applying in BCom it is mandatory to have passed 12th Commerce background with minimum 50-60% of combined percentage. In case of Law and Education major, students should have passed graduation with relevant discipline as their major. The entrance tests are WBJEE, JEE Main, CAT, CLAT, MAT, GMAT. These entrance tests vary depending on the department of the course to be pursued.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Pan card, passport, voter id, driving license for the identification of the candidate and his/ her details.
2. Secondary education certificate as the mark sheet of 10th standard and pass certificate issued by a known education board.
3. Original and certified true copy of mark sheet and passing certificate of 12th standard examination for substantiating the qualification examination scores for the undergraduate programme.
4. Mark sheet or academic report/ transcript to assess the previous education of the candidate and for college transfer.
5. Affidavit for those candidates who are seeking quota benefits they belong to reserved category they need to submit caste certificate.
6. Income certificate is required for each candidate intending to apply under EWS category or for getting exemption in application fee.
1. They can be downloaded from the website of the university or collected from the university offices when they are available normally in the months of May and June. Attach necessary documents.
2. Sit for the concerned test, if any; merit list is prepared for UG on the basis of entrance test, for PG on the basis of class XII marks for UG and graduation for PG.
3. Check merit list when issued on university website or the office in the months of July and August. If the child has been selected for counseling then proceed.
4. Go for counseling as per the scheduled date and time, be ready with the documents, admit the fees and opt for your choice of course and college as per the rank obtained.
5. Demand the written or electronic admission confirmation letter from the college of your choice. Finish the rest of admissions procedures with them.
6. Go to college orientation and classes according to academic schedule; generally it begins in July August. Maintain attendance criteria.

2. Look for the university specialization, and based on that, look for the potential research area and the supervisor.
3. Application for admission must be downloaded from the university website whenever a notice is released.
4. A completed application form should be accompanied with other relevant documents must be submitted before the deadline.
5. If entrance test is conducted then be prepared to face it followed by Interview round.
