Rani Durgavati University is also called Jabalpur University and it is located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It provides many undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different areas of specialties including sciences, social sciences, arts, commerce, law, etc. Some of the most conducted courses include under graduate programs such as BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and post graduate programs like MSc, MA MCom, LLB. Regarding the eligibility criteria, it is mentioned that it may differ based on the program and as per the mentioned requirement for arts / humanities courses the applicant should have passed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% of the total marks. The requirement for maths/science courses include 12th grade pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology with at least 60% marks. As for the eligibility criteria for admission in MBA program, it can be stated that the candidates with a valid bachelor’s degree from any University with not less than 50% marks are accepted. Some of the common entrance tests that are taken are MP PET, CMAT, CAT.

The process of registration for different Under Graduates/Post Graduates courses stated from the month of May for the concerned session. The online application is typically done through the university’s online platform or through the general common entrances. They have to self-register, complete the application form, upload necessary documents, pay the fees, and attend the counselling session as per the date and time indicated. While applying online, the candidate has to first create his/her account with the help of the valid email ID and contact number. On creating an account, they can then login into the admission portal and apply by completing the application form with all the personal, academic and other necessary information. Originals also require scanned copies, and any other document that needs to be uploaded needs to be scanned as well. The application fee can also be paid online by credit/debit card, net banking, or using UPI.

- The candidates should have passed master’s degree in the relevant subject and obtained 55% marks or equivalent grade. Concessions of 5% is allowed to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category students.
- University administers a test known as Research Eligibility Test (RET) that assesses candidate’s research aptitude, subject knowledge, and language proficient particularly English etc, and the minimum passing marks for candidates is 50%.
- Applicants who are offered a place are given an interview after being shortlisted for higher performance in RET scores. The interview involves questions like research interests, knowledge in the subjects, problem solving skills, language abilities etc.
- The last step is the final selection of candidates where performance in RET and interview jointly determine the final cutoff. More preference may be offered to candidates based on their qualification such as CSIR-NET /SET qualification and publications etc.
- It means that category wise reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates are also applicable as per the rules of the government. Back and forth: Number of seats available, specializations offered etc. differs from department to department.

4. MBA admission application form is available online, and you have to fill it with the required information. Fill all fields including personal data, academic performance, contact data, etc. correctly.
5. Please upload scanned copies of photographs, signature, educational certificates, category/domicile certificates if necessary in scanned form.
6. Make the application fees’ payment using credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment facilities.
7. An applicant is advised to print and keep a hard copy of the completed application form for future use.
8. You must follow the status of the admission online or wait for any notification regarding the admissions, GD/PI dates on the website and in your account.
9. Attend for GD/PI as required on the dates and at the time assigned to the candidate.
10. In the next phase, all the admission formalities need to be fulfilled by the candidate and documents required along with the fees for final confirmation of MBA admission at RDVV Jabalpur.
