All the courses of different streams at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the academic session 2024-15 in all the departments are taught by the university. Students have to fill online or offline preferences of course and colleges, students have to upload documents, many tests like MHT-CET, MHCET, JEE, CUCET may be taken depending on the course and finally list of allotment is shown and students have to confirm their admission by document verification. The dates for probable examination will be in March 2023 whereas the examination will be conducted in May-June 2023. For the academic year 2024, the admission and counselling will begin from July 2023 for the different programmes.
SPU has a wide range of programs that it offers to its students, as per various specialization areas across the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The admission procedure followed in SPPU is online also along with offline procedure for applying to the university.

There are two formats – either online or on paper which should be duly completed with the required details and accompanied by prescribed fees for the application as well as other required documents.
In online application, the students are required to open the application form link, open the web page portal and create an account. Scanned copies of some documents are also required to be uploaded and the payment can be made by debit card, credit card, or online banking. The filled-in application forms are available in the prescribed format from different centers/colleges and attachments of required documents and admission fees are to be deposited at the respective department/institute. Also, the university provides different scholarship opportunities that include merit scholarships and entrance scholarships. This means that the admission criteria or requirements, and eligibility, fees, intake capacity, and selection process depend on the disciplines offered at the universities.
- Application Process: The application process is typically in April and May 2024 for admissions in the academic year 2024/2026. The application process is quite simple where applicants apply through the online portal of the university.
- Entrance Exams: The entrance tests, which are recognized by SPPU include CMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT and ATMA since the University uses these exams as a basis of conducting group discussion and interviews. These exams are typically administered in November 2023 to February 2024.
- Eligibility: To meet the eligibility criteria, the candidates must have passed their graduation with minimum 50% marks for the general category and 45% for the reserved candidates, and the candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university. Even final year students can apply themselves for this sector.
- Selection Process: The candidates who are shortlisted based on the entrance examination hold group discussion and personal interview session, and then the final merit list is compiled.
- Participating Institutes: Till date, there are numerous B-schools affiliated to SPPU offering MBA program which includes Symbiosis Institutes, MIT School of Management, Modern College of Business & Research, AIMS Institute etc.
- Fees: Till the end of two-year full-time MBA program, the students are required to pay an amount which varies from Rs. The PGDM course fee may be charged around 3-6 lakhs approximately in most of the institutes.
- Registration Start Date: Depending on the availability of the selected participants, the first round of interviews will be conducted during the second week of May 2022 (tentatively).
- Last Date to Apply Online: Regardless, the given planes are to be implemented in the first week of June 2022 (tentatively).
- Exam Date: June: Second week of June 2022 (Preliminary)
- Result Declaration: June 2022, week 3 (est)
- Counseling Dates: Fourth week of June 2022 and on wards (depending on tentative calendar)
1. Entrance Test: The MAH-MBA/MMS-CET exam of SPPU is conducted for admissions in MBA colleges which are part of SPPU system. Passing this entrance test is highly important, and your results in it define your chances of being selected.
2. Qualifying Degree: For admission to MBA you should have a valid bachelors degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for general candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC.
The candidate should possess knowledge of the computer.
3. Group Discussion & Personal Interview: At SPPU, candidates, who qualify the entrance tests, are called for group discussions and personal interviews. Gd–PI is also a criterion for selection and your performance in the same will define whether you will be selected or not.
4. Work Experience: It is good to know that many colleges have policies that provide extra leeway and consideration to candidates with at least two years of full-time work experience, especially in managerial positions.
5. Other Factors: Certain institutes may also have other parameters that are used in the final GD-PI stage such as academic performance, extra co-curricular activities, communication skills and so on.

2. To apply for admission for the next academic year, go to the ‘Admissions’ tab at the top of the homepage and click ‘Online Application Portal’.
3. In applying for the course, you should select it as ‘MBA’ and proceed to fill all the details in the application form. This consists of photographs of the candidate, their biographical details such as name, address, date of birth, and other related information like educational qualification, contact details, etc.
4. Scan required documents like photograph, signature, other certificates like educational, and caste certificate if applicable etc.
5. Pay the application fee through online mode by using his credit/debit card or net banking etc.
6. After filling all the details in the form, recheck all the information entered in the application and then proceed for the submission of the same.
7. Just in case of future reference, always make sure you print the acknowledgement page after submitting it.
8. If you get shortlisted for the post, then there will be group discussion and personal interview for the candidates.
9. Follow up GD/PI as per the given date and campus selection procedure.
10. After the selection is done, enrol for the admission process by paying the relevant fee to the institution and producing original documents.

2. Visit the online application when it is available for further details on the next steps. Sign up a new account or log in to existing account to complete the form.
3. Ensure that you fill all the sections of the form; basic personal information, academic background, the program of your choice, documents to be submitted…
4. For submission of scanned copies of the documents like degree certificates, marksheets, caste certificate etc., if required, as per the instructions given by the University.
5. Pay the application fees through online mode using payment methods such as net banking, debit/credit cards, UPI, etc., Obtain the receipt.
6. Before submitting the application form for the final time, make sure that you check all the details you have filled there.
7. After filing the application take the printout of the confirmation or the acknowledgment page coming out.
8. If shortlisted then sit for the entrance examination if any is conducted and report for the counseling sessions for the respective field of study.
9. Pay school fees and submit original documents that was provided in soft copies within the specified time.
- The SPPU B.Ed admission portal 2024 will possibly be released in the middle of the year 2023. Look out for the official announcements of such offers in the months of May-June of the year 2023.
- Thus, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% marks in each of the years and cleared any of the required entrance examination such as Maharashtra TET. Some conditions may also require certain reservations or partial relaxation.

3. On the right side of the page, you will be directed to the admission portal. There should be an option that says apply online and you need to click on it.
4. Sign up through the registration options offered at the website and fill in your basic details such as name, contact details etc.
5. To carry out any operation on the website, you need to log in with your registered user name and password.
6. Please, complete B.El.Ed online application form properly and carefully. Ensure that the records of the college/training institution, academic background, and personal information are filled truthfully.
7. In order to scan and upload the documents such as photograph, signature, educational certificates etc.
8. The last step is to pay the application fee online either through net banking, debit/credit cards etc.
9. After filling up the form, you can then click on the print button to have a hard copy of the completed application form for future use.
10. After the merit list is published by SPPU on their website, follow the admission process with the help of your application number whenever it is required.
- Generally, The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) come up with Ph.D. admission notification in the period of May-June for the next session. With this we can presume that the notification of admission for the 2024-2025 academic year will be out around mid 2023.
- The admission process is mainly in the form of an entrance examination offered by SPPU and an interview test. The entrance exam is an examination that measures the students’ research ability and result from the experience they have undergone in their subject area.
- The eligibility criteria for the candidates may vary by the channel but generally, they should have a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. percentage relaxation is allowed for the reserved category candidates.

- While the basic requirements for the full-time and part-time admission of PhD program do not differ much, there are some differences especially for the external registrants already working in industries/organizations.
1. To get the actual information on the admission of Ph.D., check the university website or the advertisement part every year for the Ph.D. admission notification and corresponding dates. Typically, the applications are opened in May or June of the year.
2. Select the subject/department of your choice where you wish to do Ph.D., and look for possible supervisors or research interest areas. Peruse the bio sections of the department’s website to get a list of the faculty members.
3. If you have an account with the university portal, login and complete the online application with all details before the closing date. There must be an application fee, the fee may vary from 40 to 150 us dollars.
4. The general essentials include: – a post graduate degree in the same subject with minimum 55% marks, clear the national / state eligibility test like SET/NET (as the case may be).
5. If selected for the next round, then you may be subjected to passing a departmental entrance test and/or interview.
6. However, if you are chosen after the admission process, the university will assist you on how to pay the fees, approval of your research topic and guide, and submission of other forms and papers.
7. Work closely with the assigned guide for the research work and abide by the academic rules and regulations to successfully deliver the Ph.D. within the prescribed period.
