There are many courses available in Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Tumkur that are undergraduate and postgraduate in science, arts, commerce, engineering and other related fields. The minimum required qualification to apply for B.Sc programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics is passing 12th science with 50% marks. The B.Com program admits students of commerce stream with Mathematics/Accountancy/ Economics as any of the subjects from the 12th standard. BA program is feasible with no limitations. To get admission in BCA program, one must pass 12th standard with Mathematics.
It comprises Science, Arts Commerce, Engineering, Education, and Management disciplines and various courses and streams. For admission to various UG and PG programs in this academic year 2024, the key examinations include JEE Main between January to April 2023 and KCET in May 2024 and PGCET in June 2024. It usually begins in the months of June and July after the announcement of the results of 10+2 and graduation. It can be through entrance tests or the merit accrued in the qualifying courses for students’ admission.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photo Identity and Address Proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, driving license or passport) to confirm the identity and age, if above 18 years, of the applicant.
2. Birth Certificate issued from Municipal Corporation / Birth Registration Certificate / Passport showing date of birth for proof of age and 10th standard passing certificate with marks for qualifying 10th standard.
3. Duly attested photocopies of 12th Standard Certificate & Marksheet with the list of subjects and marks obtained to determine the qualifying examination in 12th standard.
4. Degree Certificates and Marksheets, if available, for confirmation of the previous degree qualification and the marks obtained.
5. Certificate from the institution last attended in support of transfer from prior schooling or higher education institute.
6. Caste Certificate (if applicable) to Enjoy the Privilege of Reservations and Quotas in Admission Procedures.
There are many undergraduate programmes available at Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education in Tumkur across all major disciplines. The eligibility criteria for admission to the B Tech in Computer Science and Electronics &communication, Information Science courses is 12th standard or any other equivalent exams like Karnataka PUC, CBSE, ICSE with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics apart from Chemistry. Courses offered from the university include BSc Microbiology, BSc Bio chemistry and BSc Physics for 12th standard pass in science stream of any known board. Other BA course offered by the universities and colleges include, BA Economics, BA English, and BA Psychology which requires pass in 12th standard in any group. Qualifying examination accepted include Karnataka PUC, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS.
Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education Tumkur provides a number of PG courses in management, computer application, technology, science and arts like MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc., and M.A. This condition is not the same for all the departments of the university – MBA needs a bachelors degree with 50% marks, MCA needs a bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent, M.Tech needs a B.E/B.Tech in relevant branch with 60% marks is needed for this course. For MBA admissions, CAT/MAT/KMAT is considered while for M.Tech PGCET is considered.

2. If eligible, allow yourself to be shortlisted for the entrance test conducted by the university. Pass the test before you can be counseled.
3. Go for counseling according to the scheduled time slot, select preferred subject and college according to the rank, personal preferences and the availability.
4. Finish all the documentation formalities, pay the admission fees that will confirm your seat.
5. Complete all the medical check-ups and handover all original documents to the college at the time of admission.
6. Promptly attend the orientation programme and get enrolled for the academic sessions in order to commence the MBBBS course at SSAHE Tumkur.
