TDU is a private University that is located in Bangalore, India and its full name is the University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology. TDU was established in 2013 and is UGC recognized, MCI and INC recognized and NAAC accredited Grade A. According to the NIRF rankings of 2023, TDU has been placed in the range of 101-150 in total and 51-75 among the medical colleges.
TDU provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level of education in faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy & Allied Medical Sciences. Some of the most sought are MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MPH, BPT, BOT, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, BSC Nursing, MSc nursing and other courses The admission process is initiated in the month of December every year. For MBBS and BDS the university has its own entrance examination TDUET which takes place in mid May 2024 and counselling takes place in June-July. For other programs, the admission may be made through NEET, GPAT, AIAPGET etc or TDU qualifying test.
TDU has had a good job placement rate for its students especially those who are graduating. The university offers placement opportunities to the students where more than 87% of the students get placed through campus placements. TDU has secured more than 112 placements for its students passing out in 2022-23 placement session from major hospitals, healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical companies, IT firms and others The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA while average salary range was between 8-10 LPA. Some of the leading recruiting companies include Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Aster Medcity, Narayana Health, Abbott, GSK, Dell, IBM etc.
