CET Bhubaneswar is one of the premier colleges in the country that is involved in the delivery of several engineering and technology programs in its various departments. The process of applying online is a bit lengthy, and the candidates have to log on to the official website www.cet.edu.in and then navigate to the ‘Admissions’ link. These include the registration, the application form where they are required to enter their details, uploading of documents and the application fees. In the case of the offline mode, applications can be made using the printed prospectus available with the form from the college office or can be downloaded from the website along with the form by paying the fee. Application forms complete in all respect along with passport size photograph, self attested copies of the qualifying examination marks sheets, certificates etc. shall be deposited in the college office latest by the date mentioned. - CET Bhubaneswar follows a procedure for admitting students to the B.Tech programs for which they use the OJEE scores. There are two routes through which candidates need to enter into the said degree course: OJEE and based on cut-off marks.
- Admissions are granted on the basis of the OJEE rank with 60% weight and the +2 Science percentile with 40% weight.
- Counseling rounds are conducted to fill seats in each course depending upon the ranks in the merit list prepared on the basis of 60 marks for academic score and 40 marks for NEET score.
- In the counseling session, candidates get to decide on the branch of their preference along with the college in accordance with the OJEE ranks. Availability is considered as the main determining factor when it comes to the allocation of seats.
- Some seats are available for certain sections of students like ST, SC, PH etc. as per the government norms.
