The College of Innovative Management & sciences (CIMS) Lucknow is counted among the top colleges in Lucknow that offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across management and computer applications, Commerce, Journalism & Mass Communication, Design, Law & Other sciences streams. The BBA program also admits students on the basis of their performance on national level tests like CAT/MAT/CMAT/UPSEE/Class XII etc. The BCA program analyses the candidate’s Class 12th marks, and, on the other hand, the B.Com program analyse CAT/CMAT/UPSEE scores. The BA(JMC) also has entrance examination, the candidates are allowed to use CAT/MAT/CMAT scores. For B.Des, U.P. State Entrance Examination in Design (UPSEE), National Institute of Design (NID), National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for Class 12th marks are used for admitting the candidates. The integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB both possess the provision to accept CLAT scores. For MBA, MCA, M.Com, MA(JMC) and M.Des programmes, candidates need a pass in the relevant bachelor’s degree examination securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
At undergraduate and postgraduate levels at CIMS Lucknow the following major streams are offered: Management Computer Applications Commerce Journalism and Mass Communication Design Law Sciences Some of the competitive examinations for admission in the BBA, MBA, MCA, BCA, M com, B com, B arch, M arch, B tech, M tech, B pharmacy, M pharmacy etc for the 2024 batch are CAT, MAT, CMAT, NPAT, UPSEE, CLAT, IPMAT, NID, NIFT etc The CAT 2023 exam will be held on 26th November MAT 2023 February session will be between February 6-17 whereas the September 2023 session will be informed later. UPSEE 2023 is to be held on 16th April 2023. There are no official CLAT 2023 dates available at the moment. After these examinations, the admission process comprises of steps like registration for the admission, submission of the admission form, Group discussion and/or personal interview and final admission through merit list.
