Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, having several engineering departments such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering. 1. The candidates can get admission through the state level engineering entrance examination UPSEE, they are selected on the basis of merit obtained in this test. As per the guidelines to be eligible for admission in any of the UPTU courses, the candidates must pass UPSEE first.
2. For admissions, GCET releases merit lists of candidates waiting for UPSEE rank list that will help the university to offer admissions to only deserving students. Counselling is conducted as several rounds to distribute the seats to the candidates.
3. The seats for state quota are filled and the preference for UP domicile candidates is given and the ranks of UPSEE are taken into account.
4. For outside UP candidates, if the seat is available under the all India quota then they are admitted as per their rank in UPSEE only.
