Seacom Engineering College is an autonomous college providing engineering education in West Bengal, India which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research options in various fields. Founded in 2001, Seacom Engineering College has become one of the most prestigious private engineering colleges in Eastern India having gained several accreditations like NBA, NAAC ‘A’ grade certification along with ISO 9001: From the above certifications, it is clear that he attained the 2015 certification. NIRF 2023 ranking shows that Seacom Engineering College takes the 65th position among all the engineering colleges in India.
For undergraduates, the institution provides four year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Seacom also offers 2-years Master of Technology (MTech) in different fields under the banner of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) along with Master of Computer Applications (MCA) & Master of Science (MSc) degrees. To pursue the BTech programs for the 2024 batch, they will have to apply in January 2024 through the 10+2 scores whereas the candidates having GATE scores will be eligible to apply for the MTech programs. The annual exams are usually held in the months of November / December each year by the affiliating university of Seacom, namely MAKAUT.
