Seacom Engineering College Howrah is one of the growing and popular colleges in West Bengal offering numerous engineering and technology courses in the various disciplines. Computer Science and Engineering department gives B.Tech in CSE The basic requirement to take admission in B.Tech CSE is to pass the Class XII examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects with at least 60% marks a cumulative percentage in these subjects. The recognized tests include West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam, JEE Main, and Scholastic Aptitude Test. Then Electrical Engineering is offered in B.Tech in Electrical Engineering whereby the candidates are required to have passed the Class 12th examinations in Physics, Chemistry and Math with minimum 60% pass. WBJEE is mandatory, but students can also take either JEE Main or SAT. The Electronics & Communication Engineering department provides B.Tech in ECE and provides admission to those candidates who have cleared 12th standard with PCM and secured 55% marks. Recognized tests are WBJEE Main, JEE and SAT. The Civil Engineering department offers B.Tech in Civil Engineering and the candidates who wish to take this course should have had their Class 12th PCM group and with an average of 50%. This exam is also known as WBJEE, JEE MAINS and SAT.
