TCEA provides various engineering undergraduate courses for B. Tech and B. E. degree in engineering. The department of computer science and engineering offers B.Tech program in CSE program with eligibility being 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and the department accept scores of JEE Main, WBJEE, EAMCET among the other state or national level entrance exams. BTech in civil engineering with a capacity of 60 students is offered under civil engineering department and accepts 10+2 scores in PCM and scores of JEE Main and WBJEE for admission. B.Tech programs are also available in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics branch for students with 10+2 PCM with the scores accepted in common engineering entrance examinations. Admission criteria is 60% pass with combination of physics chemistry mathematics in class XI & XII.
B.Tech courses are offered in CSE, IT, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical, Electronics branches and other core engineering and emerging disciplines by TCEA. Key entrance examination dates for admission 2024 are January 2024: JEE Main, WBJEE January 2024, May 2024: EAMCET. Students can follow common counselling process as well as separately under Tripura board to seek admission at TCEA depending on their scores in these exams. The minimum eligibility criteria are passing 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% of marks with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects. Application form released starting in 2023 January. Applicants should refer to the authentic TCEA admission portal and need to keep updated to suit the admission announcements and apply accordingly based on the examination dates. The applicants are sorted to allocate seats through the process of national/state level counselling.

The Techno College of Engineering Agartala has started accepting applications for several UG and PG engineering programs. There are two ways you can apply for admission; that is online through the official website www.tcea.ac.in or through the college admissions office where applicants obtain the application form.
The online application process is quite easy and applicants only need to login into the portal by filling some few information about themselves. Once you register, you will be required to complete an application by providing details such as your name, date of birth, address and phone number, and information about your qualifications and uploaded scanned images of the documents required as part of the application, for example photos and signatures and copies of the mark sheets. There is an application fee which may either be paid online through credit/debit card or net banking or demand draft.
1. Application Process
- Tripura JEE, JEE Main can be taken for admission in the respective engineering colleges of the respective states like Tripura, etc.
- Material can be obtained by paying relevant fess for application form and for prospectus. These are either found on the official website of the college or can also be obtained on campus.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- You must have cleared Class 12th or equivalent in relevant stream with Maths subject (Physics and Chemistry) from any recognized board.
- It’s likely that you have received the minimum aggregate marks as per the requirements for the different entrance exams.
3. Entrance Exams
- If you have passed the Tripura JEE, or passed the JEE Mains Paper 1 exam and you have scored the cut-off marks required for the courses you applied for, you will be given an admission.
4. Counseling
- After the declaration of the qualified candidates in the entrance examination, they will be invited for counselling rounds depending on their All India/State ranks, the preferences, category quotas, etc.
- In-person verification on the premises requires the physical presence of the client along with all his original documents.
