Oxford College of Engineering is a private Engineering College in Bangalore, Karnataka and was established in the year 1974. Recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade in the year 2022. It has been ranked 48 in NIRF Rankings in the year 2023 with regards to Engineering Colleges in INDIA.
The college provides different academic programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in disciplines such as computer science, Information Science, electronics, Electrical, mechanical, civil, telecommunication and MBA. They include; B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA as some of the courses that attract a lot of students. It is worth to note that the admission process for the BTech batch 2024 will begin in the month of January 2023. Application process will be based on KCET scores and student will have to go through the counselling process. The semester exams of current batches are as per the VTU curriculum in the following schedules: Nov-Dec, 2023 for various batches and April- May 2024 for the remaining batches.

The Oxford College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Science with Computer Science, Biology, Bio-technology or any technical vocational subject with a minimum of 60% marks.
2. For admission to first year B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, candidates should have passed 10+2 or any other examination recognized by the University with at least 60% marks in aggregate and Mathematics as one of the subjects.
3. For admission in B.Tech Programs, candidates have to clear JEE Main exam or any other national/state level entrance test as recognized by the University/ Government. Of course, certain cut-off marks may be requisitioned in order to qualify.
4. In the case of M.Tech programs, the candidates are required to possess a B.Tech/B.E. A first or second class or an equivalent qualification in the relevant specialization with at least sixty percent aggregate marks or 6.5 on a CGPA scale from a recognized university.
5. The admissions to M.Tech are done through GATE and only those candidates who have qualified in it are given preference. In case, the candidates cannot produce GATE scores they can be considered based on their academic performance of their graduation and an interview.
6. For those candidates seeking lateral entry to the B.Tech programs, candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering in the concerned discipline with minimum 60% marks from a Technical Board recognized by the University.
