DY Patil University, Pune is a Private University in the city of Pune situated in the state of Maharashtra, India. , It was established in the year 2003 and has been listed under University Grant Commission and has also been accredited with NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) grade ‘A’. According to the new NIRF rankings 2023 released, DY Patil University, Pune has 94th rank in the category of universities in India. It is a large university with a large campus and a comprehensive range of programs offered in various fields including engineering, medicine, architecture, law, management, hotel management, liberal arts and sciences, and dentistry.
There are numerous options available at the UG, PG and doctoral levels in the university. MBBS, BTech, MTech, BDS, MDS, BBA, MBA, BA, BSc, MSc, etc are some of the major programmes offered in the campus The admission criteria for these programmes are national level tests such as NEET, JEE Main, CAT, NPAT, CMAT etc Some of the departments also have the additional requirement of the marks obtained in the entrance test and the qualifying examination of the university. For the next academic year 2024 the admission process usually takes place between February to April.

As per the placement reports the companies that are visiting for placements in the year 2023 are more than 200 and they mostly offered jobs in IT and software industries, health care, construction, consulting, fast moving consumer goods and banking and financial services industries. Few top recruiters always available are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Trident Group, L&T and many other.
