MANIT is one of the reputed engineering and technology institutes in India, situated in Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh. Originally known as Maulana Azad College of Technology which was set up in 1960, later in the year 2002 it was accorded Deemed University status by the Indian Government. The institute provides education at both undergraduate and post graduate levels in the faculties of Engineering, Technology & Sciences.
The university provides several undergraduate and postgraduate courses and also Ph.D. programs including Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc. Intake exercise normally begins in April of each year. Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For BTech programs, the candidates have to qualify for 12th or equivalent with PCM subjects and a minimum of 60% marks. There are some relaxations for reserved category students for various competitive examinations.
2. Candidates aspiring to take admission in MTech should possess BTech/BE degree in the relevant branch with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation may apply in respect of reserved categories.
3. For MSc programs, candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% aggregate score. Relaxations may apply.
4. For the direct admission in PhD, the minimum requirement is a master degree in the respective discipline with not less than 60% marks or equivalent.
5. To get admission through the entrance exam for PhD program, candidate should have their master degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks.
