Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is a leading state open university in West Bengal which is situated in Kolkata. NSOU was founded in 1997 which is UGC recognized university and holds a B++ grade accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). According to NIRF Rankings 2023 that were recently released, NSOU has secured 51st position out of all the open universities in India. In the process, it provides high quality education at an affordable cost through Open and Distance Learning to enhance the accessibility to higher education. Being the oldest open university in Eastern India, NSOU has been serving more than 3 lakh students.
The NSOU has its programs for the under graduate, post graduate, diploma, post graduate diploma and certificates across various faculties such as management, arts, science, education, library science among others. These are provided in semester pattern as well as annual pattern, Regarding the programs, The semester exams for the upcoming semester will be in June, 2023 whereas the annual programs exams will be in December, 2023 .
