Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) is a group of educational institutions located in Bangalore within Karnataka state of India. Formed in the year 1979 by the Late Dr. D. Chennappa, DSI has attained top rankings like Grade A++ accredited by NAAC and 39th position according to the NIRF 2023 ranking. UG approved by UGC, AICTE, MCI, DCI, INC, BCI, COA, and PCI DSI extends education and training through more than 125 programs in engineering, medical, management, law, design, science, hotel management, nursing, pharmacy and many more. 

DSI is now accepting applications for the entrance exam for the year 2024 for all courses including BE/BTech in CSE, Civil, Mechanical, ECE, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, BSc, MSc, BBA, MBA, MBBS, BDS, B.Des, LLB, B.Pharm, BPT and many more. This means that entrance exams will be in April-May of the year 2023, counseling and final admissions also. Students can apply directly through the online link given in the official website or they can contact the admission office. The admissions will be through merit in qualifying CET/ PGCET/ NEET/ COMEDK/ CLAT or through the DSET entrance test conducted by the institute. 

This is due to the fact that DSI is well known for having very good records when it comes to placement across all its colleges. More than 980+ companies have been placed through campus recruitment at DSI colleges including Accenture, Samsung, Infosys, HAL, TCS, Dell, IBM, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini Fiserv and many others. A average salary packages up to 7.2 LPA has been reported and the highest salary package is 43 LPA and more than 85% of the students getting placed from premier courses like MBA, ENGINEERING and so on. Dayananda Sagar Institutions Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. For admission, the candidate is required to have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum aggregate marks of 45%-60% depending on the course. 

2. For engineering programs one must have passed either the 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination and have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Some programs also require subjects such as Biology, Computers Sciences etc.

3. For commerce and arts programs the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination, with the subject as per the requirement of the program. 

4. Some programmes have rigid English language standards that every student needs to meet. Basic communication skills in English may require minimum scores in TOEFL or IELTS type of tests.

5. Convoying relaxed standard in percentage in total is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the norms of the respective university and government guidelines.
