National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, also known as NITTTR is an autonomous institute formed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to popularize qualitative technical education in the nation. The University was accredited by NAAC and was awarded with Grade A with a CGPA score of 3.5 in the year 2021. In the NIRF Rankings 2023, NITTTR has been placed on the 25th position in the Rank list among all the higher Education institute in India.
NITTTR provides different postgraduate level, doctoral, and short term faculty development programmes to teachers and administrators of engineering colleges technical institutions and polytechnic institutions. The main courses of study are M.Tech in respective specializations, MBA, MCA and Ph. D The admission to these programs for the year 2024 will be in March and the test will be held in May For admissions, candidates can apply online through the website of the university and must have a valid score in GATE. It is done with reference to their performance in the entrance test and interview and the previous academic achievements of the candidate.
