Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), Agartala – a technically advanced and one of the leading institutes of Engineering & Technology in Tripura offering UG and PG courses. The faculty of TIT Agartala is divided into the following departments: – Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The BTech entrance cut off for B.Tech in all disciplines is 60% in Class 12th with minimum 60% aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEE Main and WBJEE are the entrance exams accepted for admissions in BTech of the university.

MTech and MCA in various specialties are also provided by TIT Agartala as per the UG departments apart from offering MTech in BioTechnology. These postgraduate programs are open to candidates who have completed a Bachelors degree in the relevant discipline with aggregators of 60 per cent and above. MTech aspirants need to appear for the GATE examination in order to qualify. Courses and Streams available for 2024 batch for TIT Agartala is as following : BTech, MTech, MCA. The entrance examination dates are mostly during March-May or even April-June of that year; JEE Main 2024 exam dates have not been released yet, but the WBJEE 2024 exam is scheduled for April 20, 2024. These exams require registration several weeks or months prior to examination. Admission process entails application, writing the test that is relevant, attending the counselling and getting allotted seats as per his ranks, preferences and availability. Online Application Process:

First, the candidate will have to visit the official website www.titagartala.ac.in and navigate to the Admissions section. Choose the program you would like to enroll to. Submission of the online application form along with documents such as passport size photograph, signature, class 10th and 12th mark sheets as well as payment of application fees through online mode. Once completed, the form should be downloaded and printed for future use.

Offline Application Process: 

Go to the TIT Agartala Admission office to get the application form. Enter the values prescribed in the form and attach relevant documents like mark sheets, Aadhar card copy and so on. Enclose a demand draft of the application fees and submit the application form at the Admissions office.

1. Eligibility:

- Distinction in S.S.C from a recognized board.

- Pass stipulated minimum grade of marks or credit (D) or equivalent.

2. Application Process:

- In order to apply to the institute an advertisement is made in newspapers and also on the institute website.

- Candidates can download the form from the institution’s; official website or collect it at the institution’s office.
