Women’s College is one of the most leading undergraduate women’s college in Agartala , Tripura. It was established in the year 1970 and today it received the UGC recognition accompanied by an ‘A’ grade from NAAC with 3.11 CGPA. According to NIRF ranking 2023 of Women’s College is at 65 in overall ranking of colleges across the country.
This college is also an undergraduate college affiliated under Arts, Science and Commerce stream. Arts stream involves the teaching of English, Bengali, Sanskrit, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education etc. The Science stream allows the students to take subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, and Physiology. 1. English Department: He/She should have passed 10+2 examination and obtained percentage above 80 in English subject. This a good idea is good because it should help the learner to demonstrate good writing and analytical skills as they are writing entrance exam essays. Conversational skills and familiarity with literature prevalent.
2. Computer Science Department: Candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination in any stream with not less than 60% of marks. Reasoning ability and analytical skills required as verified by coding and puzzle solving abilities followed by interviews. Basic programming knowledge advantageous.
