The Women’s College Agartala is affiliating with Tripura University and offers different courses in arts, science, and commerce streams in under graduation and post graduation levels. It is followed by English, Bengali, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and commerce. Eligibility differs by departments and for BA in English, Bengali, History, candidates have to pass 12th boards while for BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Botany, Zoology, candidates have to pass boards with Science Stream. The college provides admission to its programs on the basis of national level examinations such as the HS (+2 Stage) conducted by the TBSE or any other examination at par with the above.
It provides the basic education courses for the undergraduate level in arts, science, and commerce faculties, such as – BA, BSc, and BCom. It offers masters level programs where the degrees offered are the MA, MSc and MCom. The main strands are the courses such as English, Bengali, History, Political Science , Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and Commerce etc. The proposed dates of the examination for the admission of the 2024 batch are June-July of the same year. The admission process includes – application forms submission online, declaration of merit list based on previous academic results, if necessary then taking admission test and an interactive session. The admission procedure is said to be published in details in April, 2024 in the respective website of the institution. 3.
