MBA in Tourism Administration is a two-year full-time post graduate management program that aims at preparing the students for the business administration skills in the tourism sector. Courses offered are basic business courses such as marketing, finance, human resource, operation among others and specialized courses such as travel agency, destination planning, airline business management, hospitality laws and ethics. It is designed to equip the students with the leadership skills and the domain knowledge that are needed for the managerial positions in travel companies, hotels, event management companies, tourism departments and other organisations.
The test that are accepted for admission includes CAT conducted by IIMs, MAT conducted by AIMA, XAT conducted by XLRI and some institutes also accepts CMAT scores. Also there are some institutes which have their own entrance test process evaluate quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, logical reasoning and tourism, hospitality, travel etc before taking admission. Most of the institutes also take academic background, statement of purpose, work experience in to account in addition to entrance examinations to shortlist their candidates.

1. The candidate has to be a graduate with minimum 50% aggregate marks in any discipline from any recognized university.
