There is another very popular college of Tripura- Maharaja Bir Bikram College located in Agartala which provides courses in the fields of arts, science, and commerce at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The requirements and conditions for being enrolled in different departments and courses differ. The subjects such as Bengali English history political science etc. require the overall pass in class 12 board examination with minimum 45% of marks in the subject. However for science departments like physics chemistry, mathematics and statistics the class 12 boards pass percentage should not be less than 45% and preferably the subjects for higher studies should be science subjects. For Commerce and Management courses like B.Com/BBA candidates need to have a Pass as in 12th boards with a minimum of 45% marks. June 3, 2018: College provides admission on the basis of all standard 12th board exams including CBSE, ICSE, Tripura Board for the bachelor’s degree courses of all streams.
The major subjects taught in various streams in the 2023-24 admission year are in the form of humanities subjects BA, commerce stream BCom, Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Statistics BSc in science, business administration BBA. The upcoming important examinations for the admission in the 2024 batch include Tripura board examination in the month of February and March 2024, CBSE board examination 2024 for 12th class will be held in February and March 2024 and ICSE board examination 2024 for 12th class is conducted in the month of February and March 2024. The process commences in the month of June of every year after the 12 exams have been concluded. Applicants are expected to submit their documented application forms either electronically or in person, accompanied by the application fees. Candidates are admitted to the course depending on their performance in class 12th board examinations in related subjects and availability of seats. The college provides free-agent based admission with detailed notifications in leading newspapers and the college website in May.

2. To apply online for BA, click on the link, register by filling your name, date of birth, email id and mobile number.
3. Visit the HRM IUP website and login using the credentials sent to your registered email id and fill the application form giving all asked details.
