Shri Ram College of Commerce and Business Economics, more commonly known by its acronym, SRCC, is one of the elite commerce and economics colleges in India. It has undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study in different fields of study. The admission is given for the B.Com (Hons.) program and for this, the students should have passed 12th grade with minimum 60% marks and should have studied Mathematics/Business Mathematics in 12th grade. The entry of students is by merit through distance and conventional marketing entrance tests such as DU JAT or students with foreign scores in SAT OR ACT. The basic eligibility criteria for entering B.A. (Hons.) Economics program is the minimum 60% passing marks in 12th grade and the student must have studied Mathematics in 12th grade. It is important to note that admission to this institute is open based on the performance in the DU JAT examination.
The college also has an M.Com programme that includes various disciplines such as Accounting, Business Economics, Human Resource Management etc. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with minimum 50% aggregate marks. the admission is on the basis of merit score in the DUET exam that is conducted by the university.

This is usually in May/June With good results, students proceed to the next level of learning and those with poor results may be asked to repeat the level of learning as per the rules and regulations of the institution.

4. Online Application – via the web-based application form; input personal details; previous academic performance; upload documents etc.
5. Pay the application fees through the online mode. UR/OBC applicants will be charged a fee of Rs. 300. For SC/ST/PwD students, the fee is Rs.150.
6. You must scan and upload passport photo, signature, Class 10 and 12 certificates/marksheets, School leaving certificate and other documents, if asked.
7. Ensure that the application form is also returned before the stipulated deadline.
8. Wait for the admission shortlists that are usually released. If the applicant makes it through the shortlisting process, they should be prepared to attend counselling rounds.
9. Pay for fees if you are among the selected students in the institution. Submit any pending documents.
1. Graduation Percentage: It is still common to have candidates selected based on the percentage secured during their graduation. In so doing, the higher percentages are accorded preference.
2. Entrance Test Marks: To join the respective colleges, the shortlisted candidates are required to write an entrance exam organized by Delhi University. The marks/rank that has been obtained in this test are considered.
3. Group Discussion & Interview: The candidates who want to be placed in the short list have to secure the maximum marks in graduation as well as the written test conducted for the candidates are called for the group discussion as well as personal interview. Based upon the performance of the candidate in GD & PI the final selection is made.
4. Work Experience: It maybe, experience attained in commerce or finance related fields might be accorded proper weightage during recruitment.
5. Extra-Curricular Activities: The extra-curricular activities concerning commerce/finance and one’s performance in them is also valuable.
