BSC Economics is an undergraduate program offered to students under the faculty of arts, majoring in economics. It is usually a three-year program although it can take between 2 to 4 years and it entails the following economic courses; micro economic, macro economic, econometrics, international economics, public economics, monetary economics among others in conjunction with supporting courses in accountancy, mathematics as well as statistics.
The entrance exams to take for BSc Economics admission differ from university to university to some extent; however, certain exams that are accepted as valid for this course are the marks scored in 12th standard exams or other equivalent national/state level tests like SAT, ACT, GATE, XAT, CAT, MAT, ATMA. Some colleges also have their own qualifying test which is taken before the entrance exam. Mathematics and English are often expected to be good in these exams, especially concerning the admission to B.Sc Economics.

1. Passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized central/State Board of Secondary Education with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
