M.Tech (Manufacturing Engineering) is a Masters degree program in manufacturing technology and processes which is a two year program. This master’s program is focused on contemporary issues of design, analysis, simulation, automation, maintenance, quality control, for manufacturing. The curriculum intends to impart rich practical concepts and equip the students with latest tools and technologies being implemented in industries which would enable them to take up crucial positions in manufacturing plants and related industries upon the completion of the course.
The entrance exams that are accepted for admission into M.Tech Manufacturing Engineering program include GATE, CAT, UPSEE, JAM and other tests conducted by the university. Good scores in any of these tests makes a candidate eligible for masters program admissions along with additional shortlisting criteria set by the institutes. Some colleges also consider work experience in admission because of its relevance in the performance of the students.
