ICFAI University, Tripura (IUT) is a University in Kamalghat in the Sadar sub district of Tripura. IUT is a newborn university which has achieved NAAC ‘A’ grade recognition among the 10 young universities in Northeast India. The university provides different courses in the undergraduate, postgraduates and doctoral levels of study under different fields of studies. The national institutional ranking framework places IUT at number 65 with relation to Indian universities.
IUT curriculums are aligned with industry needs under faculties such as Management, Science and Technology, Law, Agriculture, and Nursing along with Education and Nursing. The 2024 academic session admissions will be open in April 2023. Students are admitted through TJEE which is a national or state level entrance exam conducted for admission to various courses in the state of Tripura. It is to be mentioned that IUT also holds its own UIET entrance examination for admission. These and more admission information relevant to an exam date will be posted to the official website. 1. Bachelor degree is a prerequisite for both MBA and MCA.
2. Basic graduation requirement: Aggregate marks 50%.
3. Mathematics Curriculum for Students in BBA and B.Com Honors Programmes.
4. B.Sc. courses are offered at undergraduate level and candidates who wish to take admission in such courses need to have passed 10+2 from science stream provided they have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in the examination.
5. B.Tech programs are required to have +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
6. LLB: Program requires graduation degree in any stream.
