IIIT Ranchi stands for Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi which is an autonomous Institute of Government of India situated at Ranchi, Jharkhand that is primarily engaged in the provision of education and research in fields of Information Technology and related streams. Currently, the institute provides BTech courses in most of its departments such as computer Science and Engineering department, Electronics and communication engineering department, Mechanical engineering department and Civil engineering department. For admission in to the BTech CSE and ECE courses, the candidate should have passed 12th class with 60% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB group and should have appeared JEE Main or SAT. Coming to Mechanical and Civil engineering, the percentage requirement is 60% in PCM in 12th boards and JEE Main score is mandatory. It also provides MTech and PhD research courses in various fields such as CSE, ECE, Mathematics, Physics and Humanities The admission requirements for MTech are BTech/MSc degree + valid GATE score for admission, while for PhD the requirement is MTech/MS/BTech.
The IIIT Ranchi presently offers a BTech and an MTech programs in computer science and electronics engineering. The admission can be sought through online as well as offline methods which are fully explained here.
The application methods for the online program are easy and streamlined. The candidates have to log into the official site of the University at www.iiitranchi.ac.in and go through the home page to the ‘Admission’ tab. They have to open an account, register the application form, and scan the required documents and even pay the application fees online.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a B.Tech course offered by the Electronics and Communication Engineering department of IMT Ghaziabad They accept JEE Mains score, MET score for admission They require 60% eligibility in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry Math . The department also provides the B.Tech in Electrical Engineering which is the admission to which can be done through scores of JEE Mains/MET for students who have passed the 10+2 exams with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
