Bansal Group of Institutes: Bhopal provides Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses in different streams such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Design, Journalism, etc. The admission requirement differs from department to department For B.Tech Specializations like Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, etc., candidates should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects with minimum 55% marks in average aggregate. Medical & Dental: Candidates should have minimum 50 % marks in PCB in 12th standard. For BBA and MBA, the applicant does not need to be a commerce graduate; any graduate with 50% marks in aggregate can apply. BCA and MCA programs admit Mathematics as one of the subjects taken by the candidate at 12th standard level. Aspirants wish to join Integrated Law course must pass 12th standard, whether they passed with good percentage or not. There is no condition of minimum percentage for taking admission in design and journalism programs instead the candidates are required to go through certain aptitude tests. Admissions to all the programs will be based on the qualifying examination as CBSE, ICSE or other state board. Entrance tests scores of national and state level are also taken into consideration if they are relevant to the field of study.
The institute imparts education in more than 25 Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses under Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Art & Design, Law and Journalism & Mass Communication. The admission process usually begins in the month of April every year whereby applicants are required to apply online or offline for various Streams. For the engineering, hotel management and pharmacy courses, the entrance tests are MP PET/ JEE Main/ NEET and the respective national/state level entrance tests are conducted in April-July. In other courses, institute level tests and GD/PI will be conducted from June to August. The last rounds of admission are made before or by August ends. Documents Required for Admission in BGI Bhopal for Different Courses:
1. The candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science group with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as main subjects; obtaining an aggregate of at least 50%.
2. The candidates will be selected on merit in the qualifying examination as one of the selection criteria. Candidates who will be selected to the next level shall be required to attend counseling session in which their documents will be authenticated before they are given the offer.
3. The reservation policy will be as per the government rule and regulation of SC, ST, OBC, and the handicapped candidates respectively.
4. This means that the fee that is required to be paid at the time of admission will be the only fee that will be allowed to be paid at the time of admission and not later.

- It admits students based on the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for admission into the various courses offered by the university. BGI Bhopal offers B.Tech admissions and they prefer the score and ranking of the JEE Main.
- Besides JEE Main percentile ranks, the institute provides weightage to the percentile ranks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics scores of 12th standard. There is a minimum cutoff percentage of 60 percent in PCM for the general category students.
- After the JEE Main exam, candidates who are shortlisted according to their ranks must attend the counseling sessions where document verification takes place along with choice filling and seat allotment exercise based on merit, choices and availability.
- In addition to this there are some more requirement like age limit, nationality etc. which the candidate required to fulfill for his/her eligibility. As per the rules of the government and guidelines of the university, reserved category students have concessions in criteria.
- BGI Bhopal provides B.Tech offerings such as Computer Science, electronics & communication, mechanical and civil engineering. It is based on merit and preferences of the student for particular type/brand of seat.
