Computer science, information technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical, mechanical, civil engineering degree courses in BTech are some of the courses being offered by the college. It also offers diploma in mechanical civil, computer science electrical electronics and telecommunication engineering. The major entrance tests for admissions in West Bengal are WBJEE, JEE Main examination and direct admission based on the performance of Class XII. Eamcet exam dates are – The national level exam date for the year 2024 for the admission in the year 2024 are jee main January session examination from January 6th to January 29th of the year 2024 April session examination from April 6th to April 12th of the year 2024. The details of WBJEE 2024 are: The exam will be conducted on April 29th. The application for these examinations will be made online and this will commence from September of the year 2023. The scores that students obtain in the national and state talent search exams are also taken into account by BCET for admission. The application for admission is available online, so go to the official website www.bcetdgp.ac.in and then follow the admission tab. - The admission to the college is done on the basis of the WBJEE score/rank of the candidate. For admission to this university, an individual must pass the WBJEE examination.
- Through WBJEE ranks, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) carries out counseling. They are distributed according to the candidates rank, the branches/ colleges they have indicated preference during counseling and the availability of the seats.

5. Recheck all the fields mentioned on the form, accept the declaration and fill in the BCET application form.
6. After completing this section, the information can be downloaded and the print can be taken out for further usage.
1. Admissions Test: As per the West Bengal University of Technology Act, the students have to take the WBJEE and obtain valid merit ranks.
2. Cut-off Ranks They are determined each year for different reasons, as explained above in the different categories. Students have to get ranks above the cut-off points.
3. Academic Achievement Score: Academics in 10+2 level examinations are taken into account where minimum pass percentage required is 60% for General category students and 55% for SC/ST students in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
4. Choices Filled : Students need to select branches and institutes correctly by counselling process according to their ranks . Distribution is usually done based on the rank of the options filled and the available seats.
5. Verification of documents | The students who are getting the seat in the respective colleges have to report to the allotted college and verify their documents along with other admission procedures before the given date.
