BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is an independent private college offering engineering courses situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. BMSCE was established in the year 1946 and is located at Bull Temple Road, Bengaluru, India The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi and is approved by AICTE. At present the college has been accredited by NAAC which has offered the ‘A’ grade with an cumulative grade point average of 3.67 on a scale of 4. It has not performed very well in NIRF rankings of 2023, it stands 25th in the country among all the engineering colleges.

BMSCE stands out as a leading institution when it comes to placements with companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, L&T, Bosch etc offering opportunities to campus every academic year. Even in 2022-23 the highest salary package goes up to 43 LPA and the average salary offered to the candidates is 7.2 LPA. Some of the top companies are Microsoft which recruited candidates with an average package of 43 LPA followed by Texas Instruments at 39 LPA, Qualcomm at 37.6 LPA and Samsung at 34 LPA and so on. The last year overall campus placement record shows that around 94% students got placed. The median package was 7.66 LPA in 2023 with the highest domestic package going to 50 LPA for the company Swiggy.
