CMR College of Engineering & Technology is a private college located in Hyderabad, Telangana and is Self financed and autonomous. This college provides bachelor and master degree courses in different subjects. The diversified B.Tech program offers stream such as Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. There are semester-end examinations in November and May every year in this process. The admission process for the B.Com., B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Sc. Part-I of the session 2024 shall begin in April, 2023. Students need to write national or state level entrance tests as JEE Main, TS EAMCET etc.The candidates are selected based on the counselling session for the distribution of the seats and confirmation of the seats they have got.

1. The candidate must possess 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from any recognized University/ Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and passed in the respective subjects with minimum 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for reserved categories.
2. For B.Tech programs, candidates must pass the JEE Main or the CMR Engineering Entrance Examination of the College. Minimum 50% marks required.
3. For M.Tech programs, candidates must have B.E/B.Tech or an equivalent degree in the respective discipline from a recognized university.A technical degree in relevant specialisation with minimum of 60% pass percentage (55% in case of SC/ST category). The candidate must possess a valid GATE score, if attained.
4. Anyone who has graduated can apply for the MBA program, but they must graduate from any recognized university. The candidates should possess 50% marks in aggregate of the graduation. The student must complete the CAT/MAT test to get the valid score.
5. For admission in MCA program, one should have passed the Bachelor of Computer Applications and should have Mathematics in their 10+2 level or in graduation. Minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate required in the final examinations and no passing of grace in any subject.
