CET or College of Engineering & Technology is one of the pioneers in engineering colleges situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. CET was set up in the year 1998 and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is associated with Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). It has been accredited by NAAC and its score is ‘A’ with the CGPA of 3.23 on the 4 point scale. Recently, NIRF of CET was ranked at 65th among all the engineering colleges in India as per the rankings announced for 2023.
CET delivers undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral courses in areas like BCA, MCA, B.Tech, M.Tech, BE, ME, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and many more. According to the offered curriculum the 4 year BTech program admission process for the batch of 2024 will start in the month of May 2023. Students have to write engineering entrance like JEE Main, RPET and many others then they can get eligible to join this college. It is chosen based on merit gained from these examinations. Semester wise examination for the existing batch is planned during November December 2023 and May June 2024.

College of Engineering and Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. It is mandatory that candidates must have passed the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with pursuing Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as the subjects with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
2. Standard requirement that is mandatory for all the B. Tech programs is the score in the JEE Mains exam. As per the merit of the candidate in JEE Mains entrance will be given to the students.
3. For MTech programs, the candidates must have a BTech/BE or its equivalent degree in the related specialization along with total marks aggregate of 60% minimum. The candidates should be GATE qualified candidates, which means that they have passed the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
4. For BArch program, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects and one should have a valid certificate of NATA. During the admission, there will also be a portfolio and interview.
5. For MPlan program, candidates should possess a first degree in Architecture, planning or any related field with an average score of 60 % and above.
6. As per government norms, for all the programs, the related concessions and waivers to SC, ST, OBC, PwD candidates will also be given.
