Daulat Ram College for Women is one of the most reputed women’s college in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1960 and is one of the affiliated colleges of the University of Delhi; The college has been assigned an ‘A’ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Daulat Ram College ranked 8th NIRF ranking among colleges in India in the recently launched NIRF rankings 2023.

Daulat Ram College Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For B.A. (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) programs, a candidate must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from any recognized central or any state board with at least 60% aggregate marks.
2. For B.A. Economics (Hons), candidates should have passed Mathematics in the qualifying examination that is Class 12. For B.A English (Hons), the candidate must have studied Humanities stream in class twelfth standard.
3. For B.Sc. Mathematics (Hons) Both the candidates must have Mathematics as passing subject in class XII. For B.Sc. Buenos Aires: The candidate must have at least 50 percent mark in Physics; Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in Class 12 is compulsory.
4. For degrees such as master’s degree M.A., M.Sc. As for the eligibility criteria, candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in the relevant field with at least 50% of the marks are eligible to take admission in M.Com.
5. For M.Phil and Ph.D. The candidate must have postgraduate degree in the subject in which he/she wants to do M.Phil/Ph.D with at least 55% marks in the aggregate of the qualifying examination and the qualifying examination.
6. The university norms state that the reserved category candidates need to have a minimum eligibility percentage and there are relaxations in these percentages for them. Further entry conditions that may be required include entrance examinations that are conducted for some courses.
