Faridabad college DAV Centenary College provides only undergraduate courses in the stream of Arts, Commerce, Computer, Journalism and Mass Communication etc. The criteria of the eligibility test differs from department to department – for the BA courses the applicants should have passed 12th standard examinations in the relevant stream, those who are applying for BCom should have passed 12th standard examinations with a minimum of 50% marks, for BCA the applicant should have passed 12th standard with Mathematics as one of the subjects, for BJMC the applicants should have passed 12th standard examinations with a CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards are accepted across all courses exams.
The college has a few courses such as BA in Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology, BCom General and BCom Honours, BBA, BCA, BJMC, BSc in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Computer Science and Instrumentation. Key exam dates for admission 2024 are: For the admission process the entrance examination will be conducted in May 2023, first list of selected candidates will be declared in June 2023 and the document verification will be done in July 2023 and the classes will start from August 2023. The steps include -, the submission of online application form, taking the college entrance test, checking merit list which includes percentage of class 12th + college entrance test and then the students go through the document verification list and then they pay the fee to get admitted to the course allotted to them as per the date allotted. It is completely online and the applicant must frequently visit the college website as well as logging in to check the lists and schedules. This was also available for counselling especially where one had questions to ask.
