Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies (VSICS) is established in the year 1996 by Shri Satya Narayan Agarwal and is the leading institute in imparting quality computer education in Uttar Pradesh. VSICS was set up in the year 2000 and has the AICTE recognition and is associated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow abbreviated as AKTU. The university has affiliation with NAAC where it has been graded ‘A’ as a testimony of the good education standards. In NIRF 2023 rankings VSICS has been placed at 45th position out of all Computer Institutes in India.
VSICS has different programs namely B.Tech, IT, ECE and Mechanical along with MCA and MBA. According to the admission calendar, the admission process for the next academic session 2024 will be in May 2023 for all the programs. Through the institute website, or one can get the forms from the institute by contacting them, though the methods of contacting them has not been provided. Programs set various criteria however, admission is generally through national or state level computer/Engineering/management entrance test. H1: most of the entrance tests are likely to release their exams dates in the beginning of the year 2023. This way, it eliminates biased and favouritism by making merit-based selections through counselling sessions.
