The Dyal Singh College is situated in Lodhi Road, New Delhi and it provides the various programs and courses of under graduation and post graduation in arts, science, commerce, mathematics and others. It has opened admissions for the BA programs in Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science and so on, which require one to pass 12th exams and have minimum 50% in aggregate. The BCom program has a focus on Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics etc and a 12th pass is mandatory with minimum of 55% marks. The BSc courses such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Maths and others admit students from Science group of the twelfth standard with minimum fifty percent marks. General education to BA and BCom courses is open to students of any stream provided the students fulfill the requirements set by the university. Standard exams such as DUET, NPAT, MAT, CAT are conducted for master’s programs such as MA English, M Com, MSc in Botany, Chemistry, Anthropology, etc.

It is noteworthy that the admission for the next academic year, the 2024 academic year, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs will begin in May 2023. For the purpose of applying to an undergraduate course, the entrance tests is set for June 2023 while the entrance test for Masters courses is between July-August 2023. The merit based Undergraduate Category wise Cut off lists will be out in 6-7 phases from June second week to July third week, 2023 and Master’s courses selection list in August, 2023. The last call of selected students for joining various programmes of BA, BCom, BSc will be between last week of June to last week of July 2023..

- 10+2 or equivalent examination pass with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC PCM candidates)

- Admission is merit Based depending on the score obtained in the qualifying exam.

- Candidates are required to take an entrance examination as administered by the university or institute they are applying for.

- In addition to the scores in WRITTEN test, personal interview, and group discussion are also conducted.

- General communication, knowledge of the industry, ability and interest of the applicants are tested during selection.
