GEC Ajmer or Government Engineering College Ajmer is one of the esteemed autonomous government engineering colleges in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. It was set up in the year 1952 as an autonomous college and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education AICTE. GEC Ajmer has been accredited with an ‘A’ Grade form National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC]. According to the recently released NIRF Rankings 2023, GEC Ajmer stands 76th position out of all the engineering colleges in India.
Currently, the institute has a rich and expansive portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering. The B.Tech courses provided are in computer science, information technology, electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil and chemical engineering and others. Admission to its B.Tech programs is done through state level entrance test apart from which there are national level entrance tests like JEE Main.
