Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences, also known as GGITS, was established in 1995 and is an engineering college in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. GGITS was established in the year 1998 and this college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to RGPV UNIVERSITY. The college has been accredited with NAAC of B ++ grade. As per NIRF Rankings 2023 released recently, GGITS has stood 151 ranks among engineering institutions in India.
The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate program streams in several fields of engineering and technology. Some of the B.Tech programs that are done are in branches such as computer science, electronics and telecommunication, electrical, mechanical, civil and chemical engineering among others. Other PG programmes that are provided are M.Tech and MCA. Semester exams are conducted in November and May of the particular year. In the case of the batch to begin in the academic year 2024, the admission process will be as follows: Entrance quota is filled on the basis of performance in state level entrance tests such as MP PET, JEE Main rank and also on the basis of GGITS-ET conducted by GGITS.

1. For admission to the undergraduate engineering stream, the candidates are required to have passed 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
2. For admission in MBA and MCA courses of 2 years duration, candidates must have passed the Bachelor of Science/Any Other Discipline with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from any university.
3. The criteria of eligibility for the PhD programs include the candidate possessing a relevant master’s degree with not less than 60% for all semesters, or GATE/NET.
4. For the BSc courses offered by the institute, the applicant must have passed 10+2 exams with Mathematics/Biology subjects as one of the optional subjects and must have secured 50% pass marks in aggregate.
5. For the admission in 5 years integrated MTech programs, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examinations with minimum 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
6. The diploma holders in engineering can also join the second year of the undergraduate engineering courses offered in the institute through the lateral entry system.
