Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre also known as JECRC, is an engineering college situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, which is an autonomous college. JECRC is affiliated to RTU University and has approval of AICTE New Delhi. It has NAAC ‘A’ grade accreditation in order to establish quality infrastructure and education system. According to NIRF rankings 2023, JECRC was 91st NIRF ranking among all engineering colleges in India.
The institute teaches and provides numerous engineering and technology courses, cutting across disciplines. Some of the B.Tech courses provided are in the areas of Computer Science & Engineering, Information technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical and civil, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Bio technology and many more. To pursue B.Tech, there are chances of getting admitted through state level entrance examinations such as JEE Mains. The master’s degree courses offered are Master of Technology and Master of Business Administration. JECRC also has diploma courses in various fields of engineering for the students. Exam schedule of JECRC are – JEE Mains examination will be held in the first week of April in the year 2024. State exam dates will be differing from the conducting body of state level exam. It usually starts in May each year immediately when results of entrance examinations are out.

1. BTech Computer Science Engineering: Had passed 10+2 examination in PCM with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. The following criteria apply: Possession of a valid score in JEE Main. About age restrictions: Maximum age is 21 years. Candidates should have studied English as a subject in 10+2 level, but there is no bar on the number of years of graduation.
2. BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering: Successfully completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with at least 55% overall percentage. JEE Main scores or REAP required. The age limit for participation in the company’s programs is 25 years. English language proficiency mandatory.
3. BTech Mechanical Engineering: Passed 10+2 with PCM with more than 50% average for the entire course. The admission of candidates in B.Tech course is based on the qualifying exam of JEE Mains or REAP or RPET. Certain parameters such as age restrictions; participants should not exceed the age of 23 years. Candidates should have studied English up to the 10+2 level.
4. BTech Civil Engineering: Candidates with minimum 45% of marks in PCM group in 10+2 examination are eligible to apply. Appearances in entrance examination compulsory – JEE Mains/REAP/RPET. Alcohol restrictions - No alcohol will be sold or consumed by anyone under 21 years of age. It is compulsory to have English as one of the subjects in the 10+2 level.
5. MTech Computer Science and Engineering: A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university, Btech/BE in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering. Having passed GATE is mandatory and is a pass to the next level of a very competitive process. It also means that employers may have a preference for work experience. Experience – no experience necessary, but desire to work is a plus, age limit is 28 years. English reading and writing skills, including grammar and syntax.
