Kabi Nazrul Mahavidyalaya Sonamura is a general Degree College affiliated to Tripura University (A Central University) Agartala of the Government of Tripura. It provides academic undergraduate courses in arts, science, and commerce streams. Arts Departments are as follows: Bengali,English,Hindi,History,Pol.Science,Philosophy,Economics,Education,P.E.Music,Geography. Arts have no cut-off percentage and one is qualified to join if they have passed their class 12th exams in any stream. The permitted exams include the plus 2 state board exam, central board of secondary education CBSE, and Indian school certificate examination ISC. The science faculties include; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Human physiology, Anatomy/Anthropology, and Computer Science.
It is mandatory that anyone who wishes to join should have passed class 12th with biology, physics, and chemistry as optional subjects. The standard qualifying exams for science are; state board, CBSE, and ISC for the Higher Secondary plus two levels. In the commerce department, there are different courses offered which include Accounting and finance, Business administration and marketing. For the students, it is essential that they should have passed their 12th from the commerce stream. The exams accepted are only plus two state board, CBSE and ISC board.

Minimum Educational Qualification

Entrance Exam
