The institute offers the admission on the merit basis as well as entry level test for the batches coming in 2024. The key entrance tests and admission schedules are – JEE Mains shall be held in January year 2024 and counseling in the next month that is February 2024. CAT & MAT entrance exams for MBA will be held in the months of November & December in the year 2023. The final merit list of all the students is uploaded latest by the third week of June 2024 on the institute website along with admission forms and process information. Documentation, fees payment, medical fitness test which will be conducted before the final allocation of seats shall be done through the process of selection and this will take 8 weeks of counseling sessions. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. As per the procedure of admissions of B.Tech programme of KCCITM Greater Noida, the candidates will have to appear in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow for getting admission.
2. A candidate shall have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination or any other examination in any stream conducted by any recognized central or state Board or institution with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
3. UPSEE is an entrance exam through which candidates get registered to participate in the counseling process for allotment of seats to different colleges and branches according to the rank secured by the candidate and the choices filled by him/her during the counseling process and following rules of reservation.
4. If any of the seats are vacant, direct admission to B.E/B.Tech for PCM Stream for the candidates as per merit in 10+2 will be allowed on the basis of the first come first served basis.
5. For direct admission to the 2nd year of B.Tech, candidates who possess a valid diploma certificate can apply and admission will be offered on the basis of merit of the UPSEE and the preference of the candidate.
1. Check Eligibility- In order to apply for CET you required to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks in PCM for general category and 50% for SC/ST category.
2. Fill the Application Form- You can obtain the application form from KCCITM admissions website or you can get the application form from the campus.
3. Attach Required Documents - Some key documents needed are: The list of required documents includes 10th and 12th mark sheets, passport photos, Aadhaar card copy, etc.
4. Pay the Application Fee- The application fee also has to be paid either through the online payment gateway or by sending a Demand Draft. This is because most of the fees are stated on the website, and checking the fees will help in determining the services to be offered by the institution.
5. Submit the Application- Finally, send the completed application form enclosed with the documents and receipt of payment to the department of admissions, KCCITM.
6. Appear for Counselling - In case of being shortlisted, you will need to attend counseling rounds to finalize seat and admission process.
- The basis is the students’ performance in the national/state level engineering entrance examinations such as JEE Main, UPSEE, etc., wherein the admission is offered only if the student secures the minimum required cut off marks prescribed by the institute.
- Basically, candidates are required to sit a written examination for the institute’s exam, which involves areas of mathematics, analytical ability, logical reasoning, etc Besides, candidates are interviewed.
- In the selection process, academic score obtained by the candidates in their 10+2 board examinations with specific focus on physics, chemistry and mathematics is taken into consideration. Minimum eligibility criteria entails an average aggregate of 50-60% with additional requirements of minimum percentage in PCM subjects.
- Concessional categories are also provided with reserved seats as per the government regulation for female passengers, economically weaker passengers etc.
- Scholarships may be available based on merit and it has been customary for the institute to award them to the toppers.

3. Provide your documents - All the details in the application form should be filled appropriately, and the necessary documents should be submitted. Check if there are no mistakes in the text, if some details are missed.
4. Application and processing fees – As a result, the applicants should be able to pay application fee as well as the admission processing fees. 5. How to apply - Completed application form should be accompanied by necessary documents and can either be filled online or submitted in the college admin office by the stipulated time. Keep proof of submission.
6. Appear for entrance exam – If possible appear for the university conducted entrance examination at the scheduled date.
7. Visit admission list – Admission list is compiled depending on the scores obtained in the entrance exams and the merit of the students. Navigate to the ‘manage my booking’ tab check if you have been assigned a seat.
8. Finish the admission procedures - If you are given an admission, then always ensure that you fill the admission requirements and submit all necessary documents and pay for the admission fees before the stipulated time.
