L.D. College of Engineering (LDCE) Ahmedabad is one of the well-renowned engineering colleges in the state of Gujarat. Established in 1948, it is an autonomous institution and a Government aided institution, recognized by Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE. LDCE Ahmedabad NAAC grade A++ accredited in 2022, is known for quality infrastructure, faculty and its academic rigor. The best NIRF ranking it received was 75 ranking among the top engineering colleges in India for the NIRF rankings 2023.
Institute has undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D programmes in various fields of engineering like computer engineering, information technology, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering etc., and Master of Computer Applications. The admission process starts in May of every year and the student’s qualification depends on the scores obtained in ACPC Gujarat exams or JEE Main. The next session for the admission process is in the beginning of the year July 2024 and the entrance exam notification and admission procedure will be out by December 2023.
LDCE Ahmedabad has always been able to provide excellent placements in most organizations such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, L&T and IBM. The candidates of 2022 got internships from more than 210 companies and placement record was above 85% the highest salary package was 48 LPA and average was 6.5 LPA. The college has a well sophisticated training and placement cell that looks after the students for internships and industrial training, organizes several skill development programmes and gets the students ready for campus recruitment by the IT giants and other premier core industry houses. As many as 1800 passing out students are there that makes LDCE one of the best options for campus recruiters and jobs available for engineering graduates.

L.D. College of Engineering Placements 2024
L.D. College of Engineering Ahmedabad has a functional placement department that can help students in the search of campus placements. In the recent placement drive of the 2022-23 session, more than 150 reputed companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, L&T InfoTech, Reliance Jio, etc., conducted campus interviews in order to recruit candidates. Approximately 550 students got placements in numerous firms, and the highest salary was INR 43.6 lakhs per annum offered by one of the leading software organizations. As per my research the average salary offer was around 6.8 LPA. More than 75 percent of the total number of the concerned students got selected through campus interviews with Microsoft, Samsung, Bosch and other companies.
