Maulana Azad Medical College also known as MAMC is one of the prestigious medical college in New Delhi which is run by the government of India. It was founded in 1959, it is named after Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who was Indian independence activist. MAMC is an associated institution of University of Delhi and is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It has been accredited grade A by NAAC, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. For the year 2024 NIRF Rankings, MAMC has secured its position at 5th rank in the medical colleges in India. 

Some of the major courses the college provides include MBBS, MD, MS, MCH, DM and a number of diploma courses in different areas of specialization. For the 2024 admission, the NEET exam is planned to hold in May, 2024. MAMC has pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical branches teaching courses such as General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, among others, amounting to 30 courses offered in the college.
