Methodist College Of Engineering & Technology (MCET) is a private engineering college established in the year 1992, situated in Abids, Hyderabad, Telangana. The MCET was established in the year 2008, it is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUH. It has been recently accredited by NAAC and has been classified under B++ grade. As per the NIRF rankings 2023 which were recently released MCET stand at 151 in engineering college ranking in India.
The college provides undergraduate level courses, commonly known as B.Tech, in five different branches – Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The B.Tech program of the engineering college is on the semester system with examinations in the months of October and April. The admission for the 2024 batch will be opened in may, 2023. The seats filled through the management quota after the criteria of TS EAMCET scores and the centralized counseling.
