Mithibai College of Arts is one of the best and largest autonomous institutions in Vile Parle West, Mumbai. Established in the year 1961 and accredited with NAAC having ‘A+’ grade. Mithibai is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and provides education in all the three major faculties Arts, Commerce and Science at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. According to India Ranking 2023 released by NIRF, Mithibai College of Arts is at 32nd position among the colleges in India.
It provides a good number of programs like BA, BCom, BSc, MSc, MA, MCom and other standard scholastic programs in different disciplines. Some of the most preferred degree programs are: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Mass Media, and Management courses, and Psychology. To admit under graduation courses, only merit obtained in qualifying examination is considered. For the post graduate courses, the admission is done on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the college only. As for the schedules of examinations to be held in the academic year 2024, they will be posted at the official website of the institution soon. The processing of applications is normally done in April each year.
