OCT provides several courses through branches including engineering, management, computer application and vocational institutions. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the college includes civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science, electronics & telecom, information technology and artificial intelligence & machine learning and at the postgraduate level, MBA and MCA. The end semester exams for even semester would be conducted during the month of November / December of the year 2024. These courses are also available for students to apply through the official website and before the admissions, there is registration, application and counseling.
The university has an excellent placement record as over 85% of its students get placed across the branches of OCT. The key companies who recruit candidates from this institute are Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Tech Mahindra. In the recently concluded placement session 2022, Infosys offered the highest salary package offer of Rs 12 LPA and the average of the salary packages was Rs 4.5 LPA. Choosing higher studies as the top career path for graduates was common among many students. The training cell of the placement cell offers soft skills training and mock interviews, recruitment drives, and students being trained to get placed in their preferred companies as soon as they complete their course.
