Delhi University is one of the oldest and foremost educational institutions in the country and PGDAV College is one of the prominent collegiate institutions of Delhi University. Founded in 1958, it has always been highly regarded, and presently it is one of the best colleges in the country. It is also a NAAC A grade accredited college and secured its position in the NIRF ranking as 32 for the year 2023. PGDAV College Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For admission to B.A. Honours programmes in subjects like Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sanskrit etc. - candidate must have passed 10+2 examination in relevant stream, minimum 50% marks in aggregate is mandatory.
2. For B.Com. Honours program – The candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination and should have Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as one of the subjects and needs to obtain minimum 60% marks in the four best subjects.
3. For B.Sc. Honours programs in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology etc. – As per Medical College admission committee norms, a minimum of 10+2 examination pass with the related subjects and at least 60% of aggregate marks.
4. For M.A./M.Sc. - Programs - Should have completed Bachelors degree with atleast 50% aggregate marks. Completion of entrance tests also required for such programs as; M.Sc. Mathematics.
5. For M.Com. - B.Com. QE: An applicant must at least have a degree with 50% aggregate marks required. Entrance test qualification also mandatory The candidates having domicile of AJ&K shall have to pass the entrance test for being qualified for the posts.
6. There may be other requirements for specific subjects, entrance exam scores, and so on, which ordinarily will follow the relaxation of percentage standards for each category as defined by the government.

The B.Sc courses offered are in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and more and the tuition fees could be between INR 5,000 to INR 15,000 per annum.
