Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE) is a self financing engineering college in Pune, Maharashtra. PCCoE was set up in 1983, and it is recognized by AICTE & is an affiliate of SPPU. The Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering has been accredited at the national level by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an ‘A’ Grade. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023 that have been announced recently, the college stands 91 among engineering colleges in India.
It provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science stream. It is important to note that the admission process for the next year’s batch, that is 2024, will start in May 2023. Candidates will have to take up national or state level entrance tests such as JEE Mains, MHT-CET, etc. then attend counselling sessions for taking a specific seat. It is proposed that the new academic session would commence in August- 2024. Again, examinations take place at the end of each semester, in both online and offline proctored format.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For admission to BTech programs, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one out of Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / IT with at least 45% marks (40% for SC / ST) taken jointly for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the fourth optional subject.
2. The minimum requirement for admission in MTech programs is that the candidates have passed BE/BTech or the equivalent examination in the relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/OBC-NC/ PWD candidates). Candidates, who are qualified in GATE, are offered with preferential admission.
3. For MBA program, the candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline and secured not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Applicants with prior job experience or GMAT scores are particularly advantageous.
4. For admission to MCA program, the candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate for open category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/ Kashmiri Migrant Category.
5. For the PhD, the candidates need to pass their postgraduate degree in the relevant engineering branch, with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)). GATE/NET qualification is compulsory.
