This entry is about an architecture and design college named Priyadarshini Institute of Architecture and Design Studies (PIADS) in Nagpur, Maharashtra. PIADS is recognized by the Council of Architecture and is linked with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. It has global quality certification, namely, ISO 9001-2015 and the highest accreditation level, ‘A’ Grade by NAAC. As per NIRF rankings of 2023, PIADS ranks 91 among the best colleges for studying architecture in India.
The degrees awarded by the school include under graduate and post graduate programs in various specialties in architecture and design fields. The BArch program mainly deals with the aspects of sustainable architectural design for cities and towns and Masters in Architecture programme which has sub-specializations such as Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, and Architectural Conservation. Other programs are MCA, MDes in Product Design, Communication Design etc After May 2023 admission process for the batch of 2024 will start. In addition to the above, PIADS has its own entrance exam known as PIADS DAT for which we are still to announce the dates. Other added rounds include the studio test and personal interview, which are conducted for candidates who have made it to the shortlist.
