RCC Institute of Information Technology, RCCIIT is a technical and Management education Institute which is located in Kolkata West Bengal. RCCIIT was established in the year 2001 and is approved by AICTE it is affiliated with MAKAUT –Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as WBUT–West Bengal University of Technology. RCCIIT has been accredited by NAAC and has earned B++ grade, which is an indication of good quality. According to the NIRF Rankings 2023 that have been released not long ago, RCCIIT has been ranked 151 among the top engineering colleges in India.
RCCIIT provides undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in engineering and science stream including computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and basic science division. The key exam dates that would be applicable for the admission test of the year 2024 include – The registration is to begin from the November 2023 while the BTech entrance test is scheduled for 2nd January 2024. For postgraduate programmes similar to Mtech, the admissions are by and large approved based on the GATE result.

1. The candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized board of education with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of reservation category candidates).
2. The following are the minimum admission requirements: For admission to BTech programs, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry & mathematics as main subjects. For other programs, any stream in 10+2 is eligible for admission except for the programs offered under the School of Management Sciences.
3. It is also open for candidates who are writing their 10+2 examination: However, such candidates shall have to secure the minimum eligible marks at 10+2 level.
4. It is also possible to apply through the institute’s written examination or based on the score obtained in the JEE Main or GATE exam among others.
5. Admission to this level of education is open for all ages with no fixed age requirement which implies that all ages are welcome. Any individual whether Indian origin or foreign origin can apply for the job.
